Hello.

I'm Daniela Spampinato, I was born in Catania ... years ago :)

I live at the foot of Etna with my wonderful family.

I have two sons.

My story begins in October 2017.

Finished in the emergency room ... operated ... Ok! removed everything ... I do the chemo ... my hair falls out ... I begin to gain weight (about 20 kilos between induced menopause and cortisone aplenty!) ... yes I will get out the enemy is defeated! NO!

The bastard is strong, he is sneaky, he is treacherous ... after 6 months he is back! The wonderful oncologist tells me clearly that I will have to have chemo for life ... for life?!? After almost three years I understand! So I "talked" with my crazy cells and since they don't give up I have to stem and check them! Such as? With the awareness of living, sharing, laughing and enjoying the little moments to transform all negative energy into positive.

I didn't want to share anything, it was a struggle against and with myself, but it's not like that! We are not alone! And above all we are warriors and we must be proud and walk with our heads held high ... even when our head is bald! 😅

There are structures that support you, but not here in Catania so we support each other ... so I decided to try my hand at something that costs me effort, but which I now find necessary ... public sharing, open ... here is the blog, instagram, fb (in progress) ... oh my God I hope not to over do it!
